Things should do before giving birth
When it comes time you give birth, before the birth signs such as contractions or rupture of membranes. There is a good idea to take precautionary action just like prepare birth plans. Book a room in advance at a maternity hospital and it is to anticipate all the rooms full when childbirth occurs.
Before go to hospital, you should have prepared some needed equipment into the bag. So you do not have to bother anymore. Inside the bag, don’t forget to bring a pregnancy notes.
On arrival at the maternity hospital, a midwife or nurse will perform several checks and tests. You do not be afraid because the tests are:
- Midwife or nurse will perform tests and examination of pregnancy, when is the childbirth happening? Are you already experienced rupture of membranes and contractions?
- Midwife or nurse will perform checks on blood pressure, body temperature, pulse and urine.
- Midwives will see a note of your pregnancy.
- Midwife or nurse will try to palpate the abdomen to see if you are ready to give birth.
- Midwives will perform further tests to see if you have experienced the opening of the cervix.
